Sharpening your Knives


Bring all of your dull kitchen knives (and,Yes!, vegetable peelers), pet grooming and hair cutting shears, (but no saws, sorry).  Extra charge for cleaning or repairs.   Sharpening on site.  Maybe wrap items in kitchen or face towels, and put them in box or shopping bag. Include a list, your name, cell phone and E-mail, and what program or tent you are at.

Neil will sharpen the hardest Japanese steel on diamond plates and Japanese waterstones.  Be careful !!    Hand sharpening takes less of the blade steel.  Your knives; clean slice, or mashed tomatoes?

The farm store is full of natural and hand-dyed yarn and woolen items using fiber from our own sheep. Look for tags with the sheep’s pictures and names identifying the fiber grown by our own sheep. We also carry Thyme Tile needle felting kits and needle felting supplies, as well as knitting supplies.

Friday Fiber Fiesta! 

The shopper’s boulevard will be open late, and free to the public. The campground will be filled with music and food will be plentiful! There will be a book signing and Director’s Screening of documentary film “Do it YOUR way!” 

 

Makers’ Market 

As part of the Fiber Fiesta there will be a special opportunity to sell your supplies, or finished goods from 5:30- 7:30 pm.

$10 if you bring your own table, $15 if you need to rent a table
