Seagulls drifting over the islands...Maine is never finer than when it glows in the September sun.  Fiber College takes full advantage of all our natural assets.  Searsport Maine is located at the center of the state's stunning coastline.  We're 3.5 hours North of Boston, 2 hours North of Portland and 45 minutes from both Augusta and Bangor.  While our focus is on knitting, spinning, weaving, felting, needlework and color, we hope that you'll consider spending a bit of time exploring the area too...think long walks on the rocky coast, kayak paddles to private coves and daydreaming to the rhythm of the waves lapping the beach. Come spend a long weekend at Fiber College and enjoy all that Penobscot Bay offers.
